There were too many things starting to go wrong and my repairs weren't permanent. You're right, a tech would have charged me more than it was worth to fix, since it's so out of date now. So, instead, I'm learning how to use an HP laptop and having a good time, except for the keyboard. I'm accustomed to the Dell and this one has its keyboard shifted a little to the left to accommodate additional keys, so it's a challenge.
